Based in Tartu, the event serves up a mix of wide, high-speed forest roads and narrower technical sections across southern Estonia’s rolling landscape. Precision and bravery go hand-in-hand here, with flat-out crests and high-speed compression zones keeping drivers on edge from start to finish.
The rally joined the WRC in 2020 and quickly gained a reputation as a fan favourite, thanks to its slick organisation, massive crowds and full-send stage designs. Expect fast splits, small gaps – and no room to back off.

The Challenge
Estonia might be fast, but it’s far from easy. Speeds are sky-high, but surface changes and constant jumps mean there’s no time to relax. Accurate pace notes are everything, and the faster you go, the more punishing even the smallest misjudgement becomes.
Stages are typically smooth on the first pass but can become rutted and tricky on the second. And while the weather is usually dry and warm, sudden downpours can turn the high-speed challenge into a slippery game of survival.
Drivers need commitment, rhythm, and trust – both in the car and their co-driver. Lose momentum here, and you're gone.
