The "Rally of the Gods" enters a new era in 2026 as it relocates its heart to the seaside resort of Loutraki.
Serving as the eighth round of the championship from June 25 - 28, the rally returns to the Gulf of Corinth for the first time in over a decade. While the move brings the WRC closer to the capital city of Athens, the challenge remains as unforgiving as ever.
The 2026 route is a mix of heritage and high-stakes innovation, featuring 18 stages that traverse the rugged Peloponnese mountains and the technical gravel of the Corinthian Isthmus.

About the Rally
The transition to Loutraki marks a strategic shift for the Acropolis, trading the high-altitude forests of Central Greece for the sun-scorched, rocky tracks of the south. The move means the 2026 itinerary will feature a largely refreshed route, though organisers have confirmed that a mix of classic Central Greek stages will be retained via remote service.
The technical focus remains on heat management and mechanical resilience. With temperatures often exceeding 40°C, the Hankook Dynapro R213 tyres in their hard compound are the essential armour against jagged volcanic rocks that can shred a tire in seconds.
The Loutraki stages are notorious for their shifting grip levels; a thick layer of "marbles" on the first pass makes road-sweeping a major disadvantage, while the second pass unearths bedrock and deep ruts that can easily snap a suspension arm.
Every stage is live and on demand at Rally.TV – including all onboard cameras and expert analysis.
