About Sarah Rumeau
Sarah Rumeau is quickly making a name for herself in rallying, proving she’s got the pace to compete at the highest level. A former national-level handball player, she swapped the court for the stages and hasn’t looked back since.
Her rallying journey kicked off through the FFSA’s Rallye Jeunes programme — the same talent pool that produced Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier. She wasted no time in making an impact, clinching the French Women’s Rally Championship title in 2021 before going on to repeat the feat in 2022 and 2024.
By 2024, Rumeau had stepped up to Rally2 machinery, partnering with co-driver Julie Amblard as part of the Iron Dames project. Competing in both the French Tarmac and Gravel championships in a Ford Fiesta Rally2, the duo impressed with their consistency and raw speed.
Their performances opened the door to an exciting 2025 campaign, as Rumeau and Amblard committed to a full WRC2 programme, this time in a Citroën C3 Rally2.
Breaking barriers and proving herself on the world stage, Rumeau is ready to take on the best in WRC2 as she continues to push forward in her rallying career.
