About Grégoire Munster

The son of Belgian rally legend Bernard Munster, the Luxembourg-licensed driver has rapidly ascended through the ranks, transitioning from a WRC2 standout to a key figure in M-Sport Ford’s Rally1 ambitions. After a formative 2024, his 2025 campaign was a season of major milestones, characterised by flashes of front-running speed and a grit that has become his trademark.
The 2025 season began with a statement of intent at the legendary Rallye Monte-Carlo, where Munster claimed the first WRC stage win of his career. It was a breakthrough moment that confirmed his raw pace against the world’s elite. His progression continued on the global stage, most notably at Safari Rally Kenya, where he navigated one of the championship’s most brutal events to secure a career-best fifth place overall, picking up stage wins and Power Stage points along the way. While high-speed gravel and technical asphalt presented a steep learning curve, Munster ended the year on a high at FORUM8 Rally Japan, delivering a disciplined and tactical drive to claim another fifth-place finish. Ending the season 10th in the standings with 40 points, he proved he has the endurance and execution required at the sharp end.
For 2026, Munster’s journey continues behind the wheel of a Ford Puma Rally1. While M-Sport’s factory line-up has evolved, Munster remains a vital part of the Ford family, beginning his season at Rallye Monte-Carlo.
