About Enni Mälkönen
Enni Mälkönen brought world championship success in two support categories to her Rally1 partnership with Esapekka Lappi in 2026.
The Finnish co-driver won the WRC3 co-drivers' title alongside Sami Pajari in 2022. Their progress into WRC2 culminated in another world title in 2024, when three victories in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 secured the championship. That season also brought her first Rally1 appearances, including fourth overall on debut with Pajari in Finland.
Mälkönen began working with Lappi in 2025 following Janne Ferm's retirement. They won the Finnish Rally Championship together, creating the foundation for a return to the international stages with Hyundai.
In 2026, she joined Lappi for five WRC rounds in the Hyundai i20 N Rally1. Fourth in Kenya was their best result, adding further top-class experience to a career already marked by WRC3 and WRC2 titles.
