About Adrien Fourmaux
Adrien Fourmaux’s route to the WRC was anything but ordinary. While studying to become a surgeon in 2016, he took a leap of faith and entered the FFSA’s Rallye Jeunes competition. The decision proved life-changing - joining Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier on the winners’ list, he kickstarted his rally career in the French Junior Championship. Two years later, he claimed the title, catching the attention of M-Sport, who brought him into WRC2 for 2019.
Fourmaux made an instant impact, finishing second on his WRC2 debut at Rallye Monte-Carlo. He continued to build momentum, securing three more podiums and third place in the championship standings. His performances earned him a part-time Rally1 drive in 2021, where he impressed with a fifth-place finish on debut at Croatia Rally — a result he repeated at Safari Rally Kenya.
The following year, however, was a setback. A series of crashes saw Fourmaux return to WRC2 in 2023, but instead of slowing him down, it fueled his resurgence. He clinched the British Rally Championship title, finished second in WRC2 at Rally Finland, and took a breakthrough WRC2 victory at Central European Rally. His performances paved the way for a Rally1 return at FORUM8 Rally Japan, setting him up for a full-time top-tier campaign in 2024.
Back with M-Sport, Fourmaux delivered his strongest season yet, claiming his maiden WRC podium in Sweden, followed by four more at Safari Rally Kenya, ORLEN Rally Poland, Secto Rally Finland, and FORUM8 Rally Japan.
His form secured him a high-profile move to Hyundai for 2025, where he teamed up with championship-winning drivers Thierry Neuville and Ott Tänak.
