The entry list for the traditional curtain raiser through the French Alps was revealed on Friday, detailing 10 2025-specification Rally1 cars. Ott Tänak and Hyundai's latest signing Adrien Fourmaux run factory i20 Ns alongside last year's table-topping Belgian.
Toyota will field cars for Elfyn Evans, Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä – the latter making his first Monte-Caarlo appearance in two years. Takamoto Katsuta drives a fourth GR Yaris Rally1 in factory colours, while last year's WRC2 champion Sami Pajari and new co-driver Marko Salminen have their factory-spec Yaris entered under the Toyota GAZOO Racing WRT2 banner.
The expected Ford Puma Rally1s for Grégoire Munster and Josh McErlean are entered by M-Sport, with the Irishman making his debut at the sport's highest level alongside new co-driver Eoin Treacy.
The WRC2 category is typically well supported with 24 crews chasing points on the opening event of the season and former Citroën driver Nikolay Gryazin heading the entry in a Škoda. Current works C3 Rally2-driving brothers Yohan and Léo Rossel are both registered for round one, as is Briton Gus Greensmith (Škoda).
Oliver Solberg gets his first competitive taste of the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, but hasn't elected to score points on the Monaco-based event. Diego Dominguez leads eight WRC3 crews away, while former Monte winner François Delecour's 17-year-old son Eliott makes his debut in a Škoda Fabia.
Rallye Monte-Carlo starts from Casino Square, Monaco on Thursday January 23.
