Based out of the Hautes-Alpes town of Gap, birthplace of eight-time WRC champion Sébastien Ogier, the 2025 edition of the French Alps fixture is set to be one of the toughest in recent years and boasts the longest competitive distance since 2018.
Kicking off the season in style are three night-time special stages on Thursday evening, which will follow a traditional start ceremony in Monaco’s Casino Square earlier that day. Digne-les-Bains / Chaudon-Norante (19.01km) is first up before Esparron / Oze (18.32km) and Avançon / Notre-Dame-du-Laus (14.9km).
Friday's action is based around the regions of Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and includes 107.38km against the clock. Saint-Maurice / Aubessagne (18.70km), Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes / La Bâtie-Neuve (16.68km) and La Bréole / Selonnet (18.31km) feature twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Saturday will be the longest day of the rally, with three challenging stages each covered twice for a total distance of 132.10km. They are La Motte-Chalancon / Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert (27.30km), Aucelon / Recoubeau-Jansac (20.91km) and La Bâtie-des-Fonts / Aspremont (17.84 km).
Crews journey southwards on Sunday, tackling three speed tests on the way from Gap to Monaco. Avançon / Notre-Dame-du-Laus (14.90km) and Digne-les-Bains / Chaudon-Norante (19.01km) open proceedings before La Bollène-Vésubie / Peïra-Cava (17.97km) hosts the Wolf Power Stage. Podium festivities will once again take place in Monaco's Casino Square.
The FIA and WRC Promoter will now evaluate the itinerary before a final version is published upon the opening of entries later this year.
