The 24-year-old has been through one of the busiest periods of his career, tackling ORLEN R80th ally Poland in a Ford Puma Rally1 - where he and co-driver Renars Francis finished a mighty sixth overall - before switching to a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 for Delfi Rally Estonia.
Now he's back on FIA World Rally Championship duties with a factory-specification, ready to drive a hybrid-powered Ford Puma Rally1 for the first time.
“It’s definitely been a busy time,” said Sesks. “But it’s always good to get seat time. Coming to [my home event in] Latvia is always going to be exciting. Competing in Poland was very helpful for me to understand what the car can do and how the aero is working, but now we will use the hybrid as well.

Home hero Sesks cool on WRC Latvia hopes
This is a big week for Mārtinš Sesks – but the home hero of Tet Rally Latvia (18 - 21 July) is ready for what’s coming his way in just a few days' time.
“I don’t think this is bringing any more pressure for me – all the drivers in the WRC are really fast, we all know that. I will do my best. I’m hoping what we did in Poland has helped the organisers to sell even more tickets for Latvia. It’s going to be exciting for the fans – as well as for me – to have a local driver competing at this level."
Sesks stunned on his top-flight debut in Poland where, driving a non-hybrid Puma, he ran as high as second overall after posting a top-two stage time on the rally's opening day.
