The 23-year-old Bolivian is set to become an official factory-supported driver, marking a return to the manufacturer that played a crucial role in securing his inaugural WRC class victory at Rally Guanajuato México in 2020.
Bulacia has campaigned Škoda machinery in recent seasons and finished a commendable fifth in this year’s WRC2 Challenger championship. Assisting the young driver through a coordination role will be Daniel Elena, a nine-time FIA World Rally Championship winner alongside Sébastien Loeb.
“I am happy and proud to re-join the #C3Rally2Family as an official Citroën Racing driver alongside Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin for the 2024 WRC season,” Bulacia said.
“With the Citroën C3, I achieved my first victory in Mexico 2020. I am looking forward to driving it again and being able to take a big quality jump in my sporting career.”
