WRC Backstories: Andreas Mikkelsen

Mikkelsen's early passion lay on the snow-covered slopes of his native Norway, not the winding rally stages of WRC. Skiing was the now 34-year-old's first love, a pursuit that seemed destined to become his life's focus. Fate, however, had other plans.

It was a frozen lake and a rally car which ultimately altered the course of Mikkelsen's life, sparking a passion which would lead to championship titles in IRC, ERC and WRC2 as well as multiple WRC victories.

In the latest episode of WRC Backstories, Andreas chats openly with Becs Williams about how his career began back in 2006 and the highs and lows that have spanned almost two decades in the world of rallying.
