WRC Promoter GmbH (WRC and ERC) and Rallycross Promoter GmbH (World RX) are commercial rights holders of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship and the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

FIA World Rally Championship

Established in 1973, the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) is the FIA’s premium rally series. It showcases high-performance hybrid-powered cars and the world’s best drivers competing in dramatic surroundings, ranging from Sweden’s freezing winter to Kenya’s heat and rocky tracks. Participants battle for drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles at 13 rallies.

FIA European Rally Championship

Established in 1953, the 2024 FIA European Rally Championship season includes eight events in Europe. The ERC is made up of three main categories, ERC (for Rally2 cars), ERC3 (for Rally3 cars) and ERC4 (for Rally4 and Rally5 cars). There’s also Junior ERC for drivers 27 and under on 1 January 2024 in Rally4 or Rally5 cars using Hankook tyres.

FIA World Rallycross Championship

Launched in 2014, the FIA World Rallycross Championship represents the pinnacle of the dual-surface discipline – originally created back in 1967 – and in 2022, the series embarked upon a new electric era in which all entrants compete with identical powertrains, supplied by Austrian manufacturer Kreisel.

With 500kW delivered to the twin motors – equivalent to 680bhp – and 880Nm of instant torque at the touch of a pedal, these are the most powerful World Rallycross cars ever produced, boasting eye-watering acceleration faster even than Formula 1 while retaining the easily recognisable production car bodyshells synonymous with the sport.

The World Championship is supported at selected events by the FIA RX2e Championship and FIA European Rallycross Championship for RX1 and RX3 cars.
