With almost 300 rallies under his belt, Carrera certainly knows his way around a pace note book. He teamed up with Dani Sordo in 2021 and co-drives the Spaniard in an i20 N Rally1 car.

Carrera is no stranger to the FIA World Rally Championship. He made his debut in Spain in 2010 and spent three seasons co-driving for fellow Spaniard José Antonio Suárez in the WRC Academy.
He contested three rallies with current WRC3 frontrunner Pepe López in a Ford Fiesta in 2014 before rejoining Suárez for a handful of events in Peugeot 208 and Hyundai i20 R5 cars over the following two years.
In addition to his WRC outings, Carrera has accumulated vast knowledge in the intervening years with outings in historic specification, front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive machinery on national and European rallies.
Carrera embarked on the next stage of his career in 2021 with Hyundai Motorsport driver Dani Sordo, replacing Borja Rozada before Acropolis Rally Greece in an i20 World Rally Car. From there, the partnership has blossomed. Despite only contesting selected rallies, the pair are regulars on the WRC podium.
