Brendan Reeves

Reeves - or Brendo to his growing army of followers - returns to the WRC Academy in 2012 having impressed as one of six Pirelli Star Drivers last season. Co-driven by his sister Rhianon Smyth, Reeves’ ability has been recognised by the FIA Institute’s Young Driver Excellence Academy training initiative. Prior to his switch to the WRC Academy in 2011, Reeves had forged a strong reputation in his native Australia, where he impressed in four-wheel-drive machinery. Outside of rallying, Reeves keeps busy by driving trucks for his family’s earthmoving business and working as a driving instructor for a rallying school in his homeland.
