The race for the FIA Production Car World Rally Championship is likely to be decided on the season finale in Spain after all 12 registered crews confirmed they will be tackling the mixed-surface event.

Competitors must nominate six out of eight rounds to score points and all crews will be present on RallyRACC-Rally de Espana from 8-11 November, plus the previous round, Rally d’Italia Sardegna in October.

That should ensure the title battle would not be settled until the completion of the final round on Spain’s Costa Daurada.

The 12 drivers registered for this year’s PWRC are: Lorenzo Bertelli, Louise Cook, Nicolas Fuchs, Valeriy Gorban, Benito Guerra, Ramona Karlsson, Oleksiy Kikireshko, Michal Kosciuszko, Marcos Ligato, Gianluca Linari and Ricardo Trivino, plus Subhan Aksa, the last driver to sign-up for the world championship support category for 2012.

Aksa, from Indonesia, was a PWRC contender in 2008 and returns with the Bosowa Rally Team this season, making his first appearance on Rally Argentina at the end of April.

Polish driver Michal Kosciuszko heads the PWRC standings after two rounds with a 15-point lead over Mexico’s Benito Guerra.
