Subhan Aksa

Aksa started his international career in 2006 when he tackled the Asia Pacific Rally Championship. He made his WRC debut in New Zealand the following season and also tackled Wales Rally GB that same year. A Production Car world championship campaign followed for 2008 but despite his best efforts, Aksa only managed to go the distance on one event, Rally Sweden. For 2009 and 2010 Aksa focused on his national championship, which proved a wise move, as he became champion in both seasons. A return to the international stage followed in 2011 when Aksa contested the Pacific Cup section of the APRC, finishing third overall. His second-place finish in the PWRC on the Acropolis Rally in late May 2012 marked his first international podium. He followed this with another second place in New Zealand and also finished third in Spain. In the overall PWRC standings for 2012, Aksa and co-driver Jeff Judd finished fifth.
