Career Summary

Szczepaniak’s motorsport career began more than 15 years ago in hillclimb events in his native Poland. But it was as a co-driver that he really excelled. His first world championship rally was in Italy in 1999 and he’s accrued extensive knowledge since then alongside several of his country’s leading drivers including Tomasz Kuchar and Leszek Kuzaj. He switched to working with Kosciuszko in 2007 and enjoyed another successful season alongside his young countryman during their maiden PWRC campaign in 2011. A trio of podiums at the end of that season saw them finish third overall.

In 2012, Kosciuszko and Szczepaniak took their Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X to fourth in the PWRC. Though unable to match their 2011 finish, they were victorious in Monte Carlo and Germany. If Kosciuszko and Szczepaniak can combine 2011's consistency with the wins from 2012, they will be contenders for the 2013 WRC title.
