Lorenzo Granai

Granai has been co-driving in his Italian homeland since 1997 and thus brought great experience to newcomer Bertelli's campaign in 2012. He has also competed in the IRC and European Rally Championship.

Unfortunately, Granai and Bertelli's season was plagued by reliability woes. Their Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X suffered gearbox problems in Monte Carlo, and they also failed to finish in Portugal with a Subaru Impreza. The best result the pair had in the 2012 PWRC was a fifth place, achieved on both the Acropolis and Catalunya rallies. Granai is continuing as Bertelli's co-driver in 2013, albeit in WRC 2 for this season. They will again rally a Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
