Jourdain aims to break the mould with three-year WRC bid

Jourdain admits he's jumped in at the deep end and has plenty still to learn. He only managed a short test before his first rally in Mexico, which was plagued by mechanical problems. His next P-WRC event is the high-speed Rally Finland in late July before the Tarmac-based Rallye Deutschland in August.

Although rallying will take precedent for the next few seasons at least, Jourdain hasn't entirely given up on his circuit racing ambitions.

"I've never done Le Mans [24 Hours] and that's something I'd really like to try but it all depends on getting the sponsors and the right deal," says Jourdain. "For now I'll give rallying all my energy."
