Ruben Garcia

Garcia is one of the most experienced co-drivers currently competing in the World Rally Championship with a career dating back to 1986. He made his debut in the series in 1994 and is quick to acknowledge the advice given to him by Carlos Sainz’s former navigator Luis Moya during his formative seasons. Garcia’s standout moment remains his capture of the Group N category on Rally Finland in 2001 alongside Marco Ligato, with whom he was reunited for a crack at PWRC glory in 2012. Ultimately they were unsuccessful, finishing second in the championship behind Benito Guerra and Borja Rozada. However, with a win and two second places under their belt, Ligato and Garcia will be hoping for even greater achievements in 2013 in the new WRC 3.
