Career Summary
The 2012 season saw Arena and his driver Gianluca Linari finish ninth in the PWRC championship. Their best result was a fourth in Mexico, and they took fifth in Argentina and New Zealand.
Arena has been a rallying fan since his parents took him to WRC events as a boy in the 1970s and 80s. He enrolled at co-driver school at the age of 18 and has been competing in national and international rallies since. Arena's favourite rally driver of all time is Ari Vatenen.
