The new red and yellow livery of the Petter Solberg World Rally Team was revealed at the weekend, when Petter tested the Citroen C4 he will use on the forthcoming Rally Sweden.
Solberg, who will start his 150th WRC event this week, took delivery of his 2009-spec C4 WRC on 21 January, and has since driven it to victory in two national rallies; the Swedish Finnskogvalsen (23 Jan) and the Norwegian Svuly Rally Dahbi (30 Jan).
"We wanted to do something different this year, and you have to admit - it catches your eye," said Solberg of his team's new look.
Having brokered fresh sponsorship deals with Citroen Norway, Shell oil and Mad Croc energy drinks, this year Solberg feels he's ready for a serious shot at the drivers' title he last won with Subaru in 2003.
"2010 is the year I really believe I have the tools to be able to fight at the very top again," he said. "I have kept dreaming about this opportunity for such a long time and we have all put in very, very long hours to make it happen. With fantastic support from our sponsors we have been able to get the budget together, enabling us to get the equipment to fight for wins."
Solberg's Welsh co-driver Phil Mills added: "We are just as committed as ever and have never given up the hope to reach the top again. After a few days testing in Sweden and Norway we are now as prepared as we can get."
