Why the hard work is
about to get harder

Confirmation of M-Sport's exciting partnership with the State of Qatar might have been cause for celebration yesterday but there will be no let up in the hard work currently being undertaken ahead of next season.

M-Sport head Malcolm Wilson announced on Monday that his company would enter up to three Ford Fiesta RS WRCs in the 2013 FIA World Rally Championship under the Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team banner with Mads Ostberg contesting a full programme and Nasser Al-Attyiah tackling seven events.

With 49 days to go until Rallye Monte-Carlo opens next year’s WRC title race, Wilson revealed his team was working non-stop to be ready for the new campaign.

“The partnership with Nasser and the Qatari State will enable M-Sport to continue at the pinnacle of the sport and we are looking forward to working together in the future,” said Wilson. “Since the 2012 season came to a close, work has not stopped and the entire team is working around the clock to ensure we deliver a strong package for next year.”

The Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team is due to announce its third driver shortly.
