What
rally
drivers
eat for
lunch

Ever wondered what the stars of the FIA World Rally Championship are eating for lunch? During service at the Strasbourg Zenith this afternoon, WRC.com caught up with Adapta World Rally Team ace Mads Ostberg to find out.

“Today I take pork,” said the Norwegian. “It’s a very nice meat and the way it is cooked means it is not too dry although I am waiting for a sauce to come from the kitchen. I don’t know why I chose this but I think it gives me extra energy and makes me heavier on the throttle. That’s important.”

Ostberg, who is sixth overall on Rallye de France Alsace after 13 stages started his day with a bowl of porridge and a plate of bacon and eggs. “It’s good food here at the Ford team,” said Ostberg. “Our chef Mick is very good.”
