Ogier to
defend
Race of
Champions
crown

Volkswagen Motorsport's FIA World Rally Championship star Sebastien Ogier will attempt to defend his Race of Champions' Champion of Champions title at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium from 15-16 December.

Ogier, who won the coveted accolade at his first attempt last year by defeating Tom Kristensen in the Grand Final, will partner Lotus Formula One star Romain Grosjean in the Team France line-up in the ROC Nations Cup event.

“It’s a real honour to compete in the Race of Champions,” said Ogier. “I’ve followed it since it was in Gran Canaria so it was amazing to win at my first attempt last year. There were a lot of new cars to learn, plus the track as well, but I pushed hard all the way and I had a lot of fun out there. This year it will be nice to team up with Romain again and we’ll do our best to take Team France all the way this time as well. Overall it’s a good party and a great way to end the year.”

Other star names in action include Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel and multiple title winner Michael Schumacher.
