The 22-year-old from Russia will pilot a Ford Fiesta RS WRC for the Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team next season when he will be expected to challenge for regular podium finishes based on his strong performances during the 2012 season.

“In 2013 we will fight at the top level and do our best to please those who have supported us all these years.”
Although no confirmation has been forthcoming, Ilka Minor is set to co-drive Novikov in 2013. The Austrian lady deputised for the injured Denis Giraudet last season and formed a successful partnership with Novikov.
