Group B competition

Group B competition

If you're a fan of historic rallying, and especially the Group B era of the early 1980's, then this is a competition not to be missed.

Wrc.com has teamed up with McKlein Publishing to offer three copies of its new Group B book personally signed by Walter Rohrl, World Rally Champion in 1980 and 1982.

The book tells the story of all the rally cars developed in the Group B era, from the Audi Quattros to the outstanding Lancias and Peugeots and to the exotic sports cars from Porsche and Mazda.

'Group B - the rise and fall of rallying's wildest cars' is written by John Davenport, motorsport director of Austin Rover during the Group B days, and well known rally photographer Reinhard Klein. The 252-page book contains more than 550 photographs from the McKlein archives - many of which have never been seen before - and would make a terrific addition to any coffee table. In fact, at a massive 30cm x 32cm, you could probably use it instead of the table.

To be in with a chance of winning one of these superb signed books just answer the following question:

Walter Rohrl won the 1982 World Championship for Drivers after a fantastic battle with Michele Mouton. Mouton was driving an Audi Quattro but what MAKE and MODEL of car did Rohrl drive that year?

Send your answer to groupbcompetition@wrc.com to reach us by Friday 28 March. We'll pick three winners at random from the correct entries. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Monday 31 March.

Good luck!
