Defending World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb moved back into the lead of the Acropolis Rally on SS12 when his Total-Citroen team-mate Dani Sordo lost time with another puncture.
Sordo completed the 16km Pissia stage 40 seconds slower than Loeb and dropped behind him into second overall. But having already used both his spare tyres - after puncturing one and damaging another on SS11 - Sordo now faces a huge task to get his car through the final stage and back to the service park at Tatoi.
Sordo stopped on the 65km road section to SS13 and swapped the wheels around to give him the best chance of getting to the stage start. It is though that Sordo will change tyres again to tackle the stage on the least-damaged punctured tyre.
If he clears the stage Sordo still has to tackle the 40km road section to Tatoi - and according to WRC regulations he must do that on four tyres. It could be tight...
