SS6: Loeb moves up to second

Sebastien Loeb has moved into second place of the Jordan Rally, and narrowed the gap on his team-mate and rally leader Dani Sordo.

At the end of SS6, the second stage of the afternoon loop, Loeb said he was far happier with his C4 WRC after his Citroen team engineers made set-up adjustments at the midday service.

“It’s much better - I had a good drive on that stage,” he said. “We changed the diff mapping and a few other little set up things and now the balance seems better. Also the road is cleaner on the repeat pass but I think it could clean up even more. Whether it’s the changes we made, or the improving road conditions I’m not sure, but the grip is more constant and consistent than it was this morning. Earlier it wasn’t possible to push and I was taking too many risks.”
