Rally Mexico - final day underway



Sunday’s final day of Rally Mexico is a short, sharp affair with just four stages and 60.69km for competitors to tackle. After a 0745hrs start, they face three tests in the countryside to the north and east of Leon before a final pass over the Superspecial stage on the edge of the city. The finish ceremony is at 1300hrs.

Twenty-nine of the original 39 starters left the service area this morning. The top seven WRC entries will tackle the stages according to their overall positions and separated by three-minute gaps. They will be followed by the WRC entries of Petter Solberg (Subaru) Dani Sordo (Citroen) Conrad Rautenbach (Citroen) and Ricardo Trivino (Peugeot) which have been re-seeded to run ahead of the J-WRC cars.
