NEWS FLASH - Hirvonen crashes out

Mikko Hirvonen has crashed out of the lead of Rally Argentina.

The Ford driver slid off the road 8km before the finish of the fifth test of the day - the 23km Ascochinga - La Cumbre stage (SS5) and hit a rock. Hirvonen’s car is stranded in the stage with suspension damage.

Henning Solberg is also stuck in the stage. He is also reported to have struck a rock and broken his Ford’s suspension.
