New Stobart colours for 2008

The Stobart VK M-Sport Ford rally team has revealed a new car livery ahead of its 2008 World Rally Championship campaign.

The traditional Stobart Motorsport green and white scheme remains on one side of the team’s Ford Focus RS WRC07s, while the other side features the blue and white corporate colours of the newly formed Stobart Group.

The car will be officially unveiled in Monaco on 20 January ahead of the opening round of the championship, Rallye Monte-Carlo, which starts on 24 January.

The Stobart team has entered four cars on the Monte, to be crewed by some new faces, along with some familiar ones from 2007. Henning Solberg and Matthew Wilson are back for 2008, with Wilson reunited with his old co-driver, and fellow Cumbrian, Scott Martin. On their first rally with the team, Gigi Galli and Francois Duval are the two drivers nominated to score points in the manufacturers’ contest.
