New Pirelli driver blog posted now

The Stobart Ford rally team has made an excellent start to the 2008 WRC season and is currently lying equal second in the Manufacturer standings.

After their podium finish on Rally Sweden earlier this month, Gigi Galli/Giovanni Bernacchini are again nominated as the first points-eligible drivers, but they will be joined in Mexico by the British pair of Matthew Wilson/Scott Martin. This will be the first time Wilson has been nominated as a points scoring driver since Wales Rally GB in 2006

Twenty-one-year-old Wilson is hoping to continue the form he showed in Sweden where he was involved in a close battle for fifth place before a broken electronic throttle forced his retirement on the penultimate stage.
