Martin wins Bettega Memorial

Estonia's Markko Martin has won this year's Bettega Memorial at the Bologna Motor Show last Sunday, December 16th.

Martin, driving a Subaru Impreza WRC, beat the Peugeot 307 WRC of Toni Gardemeister in the final after five heats adding his name to the roll call of Bettega Memorial Rallyspring winners.

Belgium's Francois Duval (Subaru Impreza WRC) was third after beating Italian driver Simone Campedelli who finished fourth on board another Peugeot 307.

Other known drivers competing at the Italian classic were Jan Kopecky, Alessandro Bettega, Dindo Capello and Paolo Ciuffi.
