Magneti Marelli, the Italian company which designs and produces hi-tech automotive systems and components, has become the Official Automotive Telemetry sponsor of the World Rally Championship.
The new partnership, which runs until 2010, will bring exciting new opportunities for the remote measurement and analysis of WRC data, enhancing the sport’s safety tracking system and bringing the sport closer to its fans, especially those who follow it on television and here at wrc.com.
“Magneti Marelli’s experience in developing hi-tech, reliable solutions for use in cars which endure high levels of vibration, G-forces and extreme temperatures makes them the perfect partner for the sport.” Read a statement from the championship’s commercial’s rights holders, International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC).
