Citroen has just released a 75-minute feature film all about the team’s season, called “19 Allee des Marronniers”.
This catchy title - which translates into English as ’19 Chestnut Tree Walk’ - is Citroen Racing’s address in Versailles, just outside Paris.
The film takes a behind the scenes look at the whole season, in which Citroen clinched its eighth FIA World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title, with the film makers granted exclusive access to the very heart of the team.
The fly on the wall film also looks to the future, charting the process of Loeb’s decision to scale back his rally activity next year and anticipating a new direction for Citroen Racing.
Citroen team principal Yves Matton commented: “I’m delighted that we’re able to share our everyday life not only with our loyal fans but also with people new to the sport who would like to find out more about our story.”
The film will be screened from 18:45hrs local time at the Gaumont Marignan cinema on Champs-Elysees in Paris on 19 and 20 December, with Loeb and Hirvonen attending on the first night. It will be available to watch on the Citroen Racing website from December 22. Click here for more details.
