Flash update: Latvala drops around one minute on SS13

An engine problem, related to the turbo-charger of his Focus RS WRC 07, cost Jari-Matti Latvala around one minute on SS13.

The Finn dropped back behind Chris Atkinson into third place overall, 1min 6sec adrift of rally leader Sebastien Loeb.

It seems that on the start line the pipe connection between the intercooler and turbo broke, which meant the car had reduced boost pressure throughout.

Latvala and co-driver Miikka Anttila worked to try and fix the problem with aluminium tape before the start of SS14.
