FLASH NEWS: Stage 18 cancelled

The organisers of Rally Mexico have cancelled special stage 18.

The decision was made on safety grounds because of the huge number of spectators. It is the first time spectator numbers have forced a stage cancellation on Rally Mexico.

At 22.30 kilometres the SS18 Guanajuatito test was the longest of the final day. The cancellation means crews will drive directly to SS19, and the last countryside stage of the rally.
