Finishing is the main objective for Citroen

Citroen's team principal Olivier Quesnel has told second placed Dani Sordo that his priority is to get the car safely to the finish line on Sunday.

"So far we have had a good couple of days and we have both Citroens leading the rally," said Quesnel. "But it isn't finished yet; we have to keep going and wait until Sunday. There are no team orders as such; Dani has to make his race and Sebastien too, but I want the cars on the road. So it's clear."

Quesnel also said the new WRC control tyres from Pirelli had performed extremely well. "We were really anxious about the tyres before the rally, but so far it has been quite okay and the Pirelli's are perfect," he said.
