Day one is underway!

The first day of the inaugural Jordan Rally is underway! Cars left the Dead Sea service area from 0800hrs and drove 95km North to the first of Friday morning’s loop of four stages.

Weather conditions were dry and bright as cars left the service park but there was some high cloud and the temperature of 27 degrees Celsius was a few degrees cooler than recent days.

After a midday 30-minute service back at the Dead Sea Rally base, crews will tackle a repeat of the loop in the afternoon. Day one features a total stage distance of 115km.

Cars will tackle the stages at two-minute intervals and in championship order, which puts Sebastien Loeb through first.
