The Saudi, co-driven by Michael Orr, won the WRC 2 competition by 43.5sec in his Ford Fiesta RRC.
With only one snow rally under his belt before tackling the WRC’s winter fixture, Al Rajhi grew in confidence as the event progressed, and ended it especially strongly, winning five of the final day’s six stages.
Al Rajhi’s performance in the wrc.com poll was just as dominant. And having attracted 23,015 votes, or 80 per cent of the total number cast, he’s definitely not short of supporters!
Second place was Rally Sweden winner Sebastien Ogier with 1946 votes (7%) while Swedish youngster Pontus Tidemand came third with 1343 votes (5%)
