Drivers aiming to contest the FIA WRC Academy in 2012 can discuss their plans for the forthcoming season with the man in charge of the young driver-training category.

WRC Academy director Maciej Woda, who is based at promoter M-Sport’s central European base in Poland, will attend Rally Sweden on Sunday 12 February and will be available to meet potential competitors.

He said: “I will be meeting with a number of competitors at Rally Sweden, but I would encourage any drivers who are in the vicinity and have not yet been in touch with myself or the WRC Academy team to get in contact. I’ll be available in the Ford [service area] at Hagfors on Sunday to answer any questions any potential competitors might have.”
