Free WRC App

General

  • Application started but no data is shown.
    • Try to enable Wi-Fi. You may need to acquire a corporate access key to enable web access from a secured WiFi LAN. To do this use the browser supplied on the device to establish a valid network connection and then re-run the application.
    • Check your mobile data connectivity
      • Is it enabled?
      • Check your carrier settings. Some network plans do not come with network data access. This is often the case with Pay-as-you-go agreements.
    • Try to load a public web page with the embedded browser (e.g. www.wrc.com)

Android how to:

  • How to check device internet connectivity?
    • Check if Wi-Fi or mobile network data connectivity indicator is shown on the notification area.
    • Open you mobile phone browser application and try to load www.wrc.com.
  • How to Enable Wi-Fi?
    • If you can see the Wi-Fi indicator you should already have internet connectivity.
    • Menu navigation for pre 2.0 (Éclair) devices
      Settings -> Wireless controls -> Wi-Fi settings -> Check "Wi-Fi" checkbox.
    • Menu navigation for 2.0+ devices
      Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Wi-Fi settings -> Check "Wi-Fi" checkbox.
    • Description
      Soon a list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear and you could choose which one to connect.

      If the Wi-Fi symbol is shown in the notification area you have successfully connected to a wireless network.

  • How to enable mobile network data connectivity?
    • If you can see the mobile network indicator your mobile data connectivity is already enabled.
    • Menu navigation for pre 2.0 (Éclair) devices
      Settings -> Wireless controls -> Check "Mobile networks" checkbox.
    • Menu navigation for 2.0+ devices
      Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Check "Mobile networks" checkbox.
    • Description
      In few seconds mobile network data indicator (EDGE, 3G, HSDPA) will appear in the notification area.

      If you could not see the mobile network data indicator please contact you network carrier for support.

      Note: If you could not find "Mobile networks" checkbox (e.g. on Samsung Galaxy S) please contact you network operator for support.

BlackBerry how to:

  • How to check device internet connectivity?
    • Check if Wi-Fi or mobile network data connectivity indicator is shown on the notification area.
    • Open you mobile phone browser application and try to load www.wrc.com.
  • How to Enable Wi-Fi?
    • If you can see the Wi-Fi indicator you should already have internet connectivity.
    • Menu navigation:
      Manage connections -> Check "Wi-Fi" checkbox.
    • Description:
      If the "Wi-Fi" indicator does not appear and the "Wi-Fi" checkbox is checked you should scan for a Wi-Fi network manually.

      Go to:
      Manage Connections -> Set Up Wi-Fi network-> Scan For Networks
      Select a network from the list and follow the instruction to set up the network for the device.

  • How to enable mobile network data connectivity?
    • If you can see the mobile network indicator you mobile data connectivity is already enabled.
    • Menu navigation:
      Manage connections -> Check "Mobile Network" checkbox.
    • If the problem still exists due to the specifics of BlackBerry?s mobile data communication settings we recommend contacting your network operator or corporate network administrator for support.

iPhone how to:

  • How to check device internet connectivity?
    • Check if Wi-Fi or mobile network data connectivity indicator is shown on the notification area.
    • Open you mobile phone browser application and try to load www.wrc.com.
  • How to Enable Wi-Fi?
    • If you can see the Wi-Fi indicator you should already have internet connectivity.
    • Menu navigation:
      Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Turn on "Wi-Fi"
    • Description:
      A list of available Wi-Fi networks should appear. Select one of them and follow the steps.
  • How to enable mobile network data connectivity?
    • If you can see the mobile network indicator your mobile data connectivity is already enabled.
    • Due to the fact that the iPhone devices are bound to a mobile network carrier it is recommended to contact your network operator for support.
