Armin Kremer brings many years of expertise to the Stohl Racing team. He has never tackled a full WRC programme, but has twice finished in the top 10 at Rallye Monte-Carlo. He was 10th in 1997 and eighth the following season, which remains his best result.
He was German rally champion in 1996, 1998 and 1999 and lifted the European Rally Championship in 2001 in a Toyota Corolla WRC.
He moved up to WRC the following season and started six rounds in a Ford Focus RS WRC. However, his season was best remembered for a huge crash in Germany, from which he escaped uninjured.
In 2003 Kremer tackled the FIA Asia-Pacific Championship at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII and won the title.
After many years out of the sport, Kremer returned to the WRC 2 category with Stohl Racing last season and finished 13th, firstly in a Subaru Impreza and then in a Ford Fiesta RRC.
