Jonas Andersson

Andersson, who runs a petrol station in his native Sweden, first got into motorsport through folkrace: an entry-level form of rallycross popular in Scandinavia. He became synonymous for co-driving namesake PG Andersson - they twice won the Junior World Rally Championship together but are not related - until the driver’s funding constraints left Jonas free to seek alternative. He began working with Mads Ostberg midway through 2009 and the duo enjoyed their best season yet in 2011 with a brace of podiums in Sweden and Great Britain.
